WIERD Presents the Long-Overdue Return of I.U.D. with DJs Glenn Veryraryansky and Frankie Teardrop

March 28, 2012

Tonight in the WIERD proudly welcomes the lovely ladies of the pre-coital tornado of ritualistic industrial confusion I.U.D. for a live performance at Midnight! I.U.D. is the Very Rare dueling-femme-percussive slinky slide project of Lizzi B. of Gang Gang Dance and Sadie from Growing, with many surprise guests dropping by to strap one on and give IT a shootin-blanks shot. Sadie and Lizzi made one crazy hot mess of a record entitled The Perfect Sex a couple years back an played a few infamous gigs, and dissappeared into the aethereally aborted void, only to reappear a year later reconceived in our WIERD uterine world, we'll see if the birthing canal's still blocked in Ms. Chystie 131, you never know with that Shady Lady lord knows, despite our new mechanized wheelchair ramp in the foyer, she's not very rareful mmm hmm... I seem to VRemember a certain foggy conversation in a latenight daze a while back when after hearing the record I immediately déjà-reacted it had a bit of the scabby lysergic flair of mid-period Butthole Surfers circa "Locust Abortion Technicians". And in typically brilliant fashion she replied, "Please VRp...that makes no sense man wtf?, periods are impossible for us, thats the whole idea, duh - no punctuation, no editing, nothin! I mean we're all for gettin' it on with insects sure, maybe an occasional comma whateves, but nothin's gonna come of it, its impossible...got IT?" And on another less pesticidal note, this evening may prove to be a long-overdue reunion of sorts (I hope) for a bygone era a few of you kids may VRemember for the fantastic Artwierld dynasty known as AFA recongeals in the fog and lights...maybe our beloved Lord Colin de Land will be watching down from on high, literally. I know he'd be lurking and sardonically smirking in the shadows proud. VR.
