This week WIERD welcomes our good friend the truly Very Rare specimen of the mysterious New York night ANAREXIA(sic) to guest DJ all night long! Anarexia founded the fantastic MRX Party at the Parlor in Los Angeles along with Job Leatherette way back in the dark days of 2003 which has been for 5 years now our long-time left-coast ally and the only other Cold Wave/Minimal Electronic Party the US has ever known!

In other news of the WIERD, we were delighted to find out yesterday that our hands-down fave Italian cold guitar wave band of the past as-long-as-we-can-remember whos killer dark n creepy trax Glenn(who played studio drums on their recently released debut LP!) and I have been spinning religiously for 2 years now MOLDIG has rearranged their upcoming US Tour to VRace us with their presence next week for a live show at WIERD Wed. August 20th. This may be your first and last chance to see the sinister pleasures of Guiditta, Enrico, and Ronnie live in the flesh so you won't want to miss it...VR
