WIERD Presents a Very Rare Evening with XENO AND OAKLANDER!

Tonite Wierd is honored to play host to a truly momentous event over an entire year in the making - the official record release Party for Xeno & Oaklander's debut LP/CD 'Sentinelle'(Wierd Records cat#VR008)! You've all been hearing these incredible songs slowly and carefully develop in the band's live performances and demo versions we've been spinning at the party and on the radio, now at long last I am truly proud to say this absolute masterpiece of electronic music will be available to the world beginning on November 1st.

Miss Xeno has prepared a truly excellent evening of auditory and visual pleasures for you all from many eminently-talented long-time friends of the Wierd World - including slide shows by Raha Raissnia and Nastya Osipova, recent live videos of the band by Jordan Levine, and super 8 films of X&O by Miss Liz Wendelbo VRerself! In addition we may even catch a glimpse of the band's forthcoming studio video for the record's title track soon to premier at the 'Performa '09' Performance Art Festival early next year. A truly all-star cast of long-time WIERD friends of the band including Epee du Bois, Glenn Maryansky of Blacklist, Pre-Op Trans, and Shawn NoEQ of Led Er Est will be spinning their frozen cold fave trax all night long, punctuating the Very Rare midnight hour - at which time Sean and Liz will introduce 'Sentinelle' and we will play it in its entirety from beginning to end for the first time.

I hope everyone can make it out tonite to witness the birth of the Wierd's new amazing young creature...as many of you know, making an incredibly complex and fragile sonic sculpture of this magnitude is a radical battle and effort in this day and age, and truly Very Rare to say the least.
