Well this week perhaps more than any in recent memory should be one to remember forever I have a feeling, for perhaps as a way of thanking all of you for your amazing support and enthusiasm of the WIERD weekly party the past few months, I am truly proud to welcome my best friend, long time hero, and simply the man who started it all has kept the energy and intensity higher than ever for years here in the Wierd world since its inception around the turn of the century mr. MARTIAL CANTEREL for a live performance of pure, unbridled, and eminently restrained minimal electronic music at midnight!!! Sean has generously agreed to take some time out from the very demanding weeks of mixing and putting the final touches on the forthcoming masterpiece that is the long-awaited debut LP from Xeno & Oaklander in the studio out here in Bushwick centraal to try out a new series of songs from the forthcoming MC LP also due out from the Wierd in the near future...so needless to say, see you all in the clouds, the wonderful Wednesday pleasure beckons...VR.:

Due to our already beyond-dare-i-say-FEY presence in the world in general, I've become a bit self-conscious all the links I've been linin up each week here are perhaps a bit of a...ugh...DRAG - minus the pleasures of a proper QUEEN to snarl and bitch as all VRueens do...so I'll catch up on this next week. Lastly Wierd's beloved documentarian of the cold videologically crawling image is looking for a few of you kids with digital video cameras who would be willing to help out with shooting the next few months concerts to kindly email him, in particular anyone willing help out this Wed. would be excellent news! The Wierd will get your VRinks as always. We are slowly beginning to edit the endless hours of amazing archival footage of the last 2 year's performances for the forthcoming video section of the website.
