WIERD Presents a Very Rare live performance by AUTOMELODI!

Wednesday, October 6th, 2010

This week's WIERD is dedicated to everyone who has a 'Project'...perhaps after tonite's performance we will have a show of hands to see who finds this eminently 'contemporary' nomenclature offensive more as a Sympton of the infantalization of culture in general (i.e. "boo boo baba mama new prahjet whaa!"), or as a tiringly vulgar psychoanalytic metaphor of a fleshly 'pro'trusion discursively implicit, and aspiring to existence figuratively 'in extensia' - and as so generally safe to say literalizing its covert M.O. as a sticky little babbling baby finger reaching up into your esteemedly dignified self...climbin the ladder to get outa da crib and get deep inta yr gooey shit yeahhh...killer jams and summer fun lets pahhhrty(!). Lovely. VR.

Tonite WIERD Welcomes the return of our beloved Automelodi for a lovely evening of cold Canadian Electronic pleasure! Needless to say Monsieur Paradis is a figure requiring no introduction...arrive early if you want to catch a glimpse his restrained greatness in action! http://www.myspace.com/automelodi

Xeno & Oaklander will be performing live at the New Museum on Friday Oct. 29th, the concert will be preceded by the premiere screening of a new series of films by Liz Wendelbo entitled 'Sets and Lights':
