WIERD Presents a very rare live performance by PSYCHICS!

Wednesday, December 1st, 2010

Tonite Wierd is inordinately excited to present the live debut of PSYCHICS for a live performance at midnight!!! Psychics is the new incredibly mysterious musical group fronted by the fantastically charismatic Jay Chase - the Wierd weekly Party's forever far-beyond-glamorous hands down Master of the icy latenight dancefloor, you all know him well...Part relaxed flaneur in the arcadian fĂȘte galante; part heat-seeking new romantic; distinguished stoic high school educator by day; wild shimmering star of the WIERD World's smoke and mirrors by night...just to refresh your memory, watch the slithery silver prince work it, yes!:

I hope everyone can make it out to support Jay's WIERD debut!:

As everyone knows, Peter Christopherson of Coil sadly passed away this past week. Brandon Stosuy of Stereogum has written a very nice homage here: http://stereogum.com/586592/the-first-five-minutes-after-death-various-artists-remember-peter-sleazy-christopherson/news/

Liz Wendelbo of Xeno & Oaklander will screen a series of new films this evening at 9pm at Microscope Gallery in Bushwick where she currently has a new exhibition that opened this past week with musical accompaniment by Sean McBride and Brooklyn's newest elusive synth artist R.Stirling, who will be making his live debut!
