WIERD Presents a Very Rare live performance by FIGURE STUDY!

Wednesday, April 14th, 2010

The Xeno & Oaklander/Led Er Est 2010 European Tour is officially underway, beginning last night where both bands played to a packed house at the 'Upset the Rhythm Party' at Bardens Boudoir in London! Following on the heels of last months shows in France and Holland, the tour continues tonight at the Cowley Club in Brighton and on for the next 3 weeks through Scotland, Ireland, Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, and ends in Italy! A complete list of cities and venues are up on the official tour poster on the website courtesy of Jordan Levine

Tonite WIERD welcomes the long-overdue return of FIGURE STUDY to the weekly party for a live performance at midnight! April and Nathan are well underway with recording their debut EP and tell me to expect a whole new set of trax at tonight's show. In addition we will be graced by the Very Rare presence of none other than the Belgian Cold Wave king himself guest DJ Aimé le Chevalier aka Lieven de Ridder from Antwerp who will be spinning a selection of trax from all of the upcoming releases on his new Walhalla Records label! Walhalla will be dedicated to releasing the Belgian Cold Wave classics resurrected from Lieven's massively obscure cassette tape library, VRindeed! Also joining us this evening will be Josh Cheon from the Dark Entries label in San Francisco who was recently here to spin for for the Death Domain show a few months back, and will be spinning a selection of songs from his upcoming label releases!
