WIERD Presents a Very Rare live performance by THROAT!
Wednesday, April 21st, 2010
Alright everyone(forget the VR fact that sound can never literally exist IN extension and) 'listen UP', as tonites definitely going to be an absolute dark and dirty oldschool WIERD mess as we're inordinately excited to welcome THROAT for their weekly party debut live performance at midnight! Throat is the brand new dark synth supergroup cuhgmposed of the every lovely teen queen of the NYC death industrial scene Ms. Margaret Chardiet aka Pharmakon and his young, elusive VRajesty M. Ryan Woodhall of the ever pissed and furious Yellow Tears! If you tragically missed out on the likes of a copy of Pharmakon's long sold out terrifying debut on Bloodlust last year, or the recent Yellow Tears show two weeks ago at the Whitney Museum, stumble on down tonite and get punished with analogue electronic pleasure for your beloved naivete, and get a little key to the gateway that is the Far Rockaway, Queen's crews' killer venue 'Red Light District', which is nearly single handedly keeing the NYC noise scene alive in 2010. Take it from this old grumpy bitch whose been around the block too many times in that world, the trax and line-ups coming out of this cold kingdom of late are clearly on the way to approaching the legendary status only a few other US industrial scenes post 2000 have achieved such as Ryan Jenck's great Terminal in Oakland, CA and the pathos-fueld sleazy grandma in heat of them all - the great Greh Holger's Behind the Green Door Club in Detroit. Needless to say head for the red before we're all dead!
