WIERD Presents a Very Rare live performance by DREAM AFFAIR!

Some of you diehard WIERDos may have noticed the past few weeks we've been introducing a whole new group of young bands to the weekly party arsenal with the great recent performances by Throat, Tearist, Claps, and Figure Study, and another great new group Konnichiwa debuting next week. And tonite we will be introducing DREAM AFFAIR - the new synthwave project from Hayden Payne, formerly of Void Vision. Like Frank(just Frank), Dream Affair is composed of guitar, bass, and drum machine - that Very Rare briskly icy combination of classic cold guitar wave and modern minimal electronics! http://www.myspace.com/dreamaffair

The WIERD European Tour wraps up tonite with Xeno & Oaklander and Led Er Est Live at Kollatino Underground in Rome, Italy! The bands will be back Friday evening, and next week's party with Konnichiwa live and Shawn NoEQ of Led Er Est and Jordan Levine spinning will be a VRomecoming party of sorts. In other news from the live front Frank(just Frank) will be playing their first live show in the UK in over 6 months this Friday evening at Cafe OTO in London as a part of an all French Wave showcase presented by Rockfort.com. Lastly The Museum of Modern Art in San Francisco has invited Xeno & Oaklander and Epee du Bois to be the featured artists performing live at the Museum's 75th anniversary gala celebration Friday evening May 14th. Following this concert both bands will play an additional show at Milk Bar in San Francisco on May 15th, and make their way down to Los Angeles to perform at the Part Time Punks Party with our VRiend the great Frank Alpine on May 16th!
