WIERD Presents a Very Rare live performance by AUTOMELODI!

Tonite the WIERD World is very happy to welcome back to NYC the amazing AUTOMELODI for a live performance and celebration of the release for their long-awaited debut LP at midnight! For everyone who calls WIERD home you all know this will be a Very Rare evening indeed, hope everyone can make it out! The record came out this past week and we will indeed have both LP and CD copies available at the show. The band's debut video from director Jimi Patterson also premiered this past week via Stereogum.:

Our beloved Xavier and co. will be in town through the weekend and just a reminder this Friday night will be the official record release party for the new album as the band performs at Glasslands in BK with Martial Canterel! This will be a late show - doors at 11pm, bands on at 12 and 1am. The great Mr. Canterel is wrapping up the tracking of his new album as we speak, expect many new gems to be unearthed at this one. For anyone VRunfamiliar, Automelodi's cold guitar masterpiece 'Buanderie Jazz' as well as 2009's WIERD dancefloor-torcher of the year 'Windscreen' from Martial Canterel are now available for free download over at Brooklyn Vegan in honor of Friday's show.:
