It was just one day ago back in 2003 that the first proper WIERD Party went down at the legendary Southside Lounge under the bridge in the dirty old daze BK, and though ITs getting more and more hysterically difficult to say precisely who is here and who is not, even when they're right in front of you blissfully fuckin the VReal away as they twitch and drool into a tiny pool of parenthetical ooze, so lovingly bathed in the shadylady glow of a skittishly tethered oblivion...VRumours have it we still got IT, we're 'here'(no not 'here', duh), and its time to party, VR.

So tonite WIERD welcomes you all the WIERD PARTY 8 YEAR ANNIVERSARY featuring a live performance by PLASTIC FLOWERS from Tallahassee, Florida at Midnite! This occason will be the official record release party for the band's first 7" single "Strange Neighbors" b/w "Serious Pleasures" on Wierd Records. The handsomely elusive Mr. Sean Earl Beard has crafted quite a little synthwave jewel of a record that marks his vinyl debut, and we'll have copies available at the club this evening.
