WIERD Presents very rare performances by HEAD TRIP CONCEPTION AND DATA RECOVERY!

Wednesday, April 6th, 2011

So my grumpy old homeless friend that sleeps in the garbage can around the corner from my place and comes over once and a while to watch tennis during clay court season when hes sober enough to walk often bearing gifts of obscure, vintage crank from the Bronx asked me this morning, "Hey crazy Bon Jovi tennis man howda hell you doin?, shit i fahggot which house is yours but i gotta pee reeeal bad..." What a fukin asshole and YOU BET I let him know it - "God damnit Darryl, I told you a million times now - I'm NOT Which House!"

Tonite WIERD proudly welcomes back the dark industrial dance intensity of HEAD TRIP CONCEPTION and DATA RECOVERY for a double bill live performance at midnight! Our beloved in-house hero Sam Aronoff, the man behind WIERD's impeccable weekly party lighting VResign and his partner Graham have tightened up their high end heavy, seethingly raw analogue-EBM-fueled wizardry and I have a feeling we're in for quite a VRleasantly visceral surprise tonite - fans of early Revolting Cocks, Thrill Kill Kult, and Severed Heads come on down and feel the new bad trip you never wanted but god knows you always deserved, on yr scabby little knees you greazy latex lemmings! http://www.headtripconception.com/htc/home.html

In other news of the Very Rare, the next release on WIERD Records due out June 15th is the long-awaited full-length debut Covered in Dust from Kindest Lines from New Orleans. The first 7" single 'Destructive Paths to Live Happily' will be available April 20th! http://www.wierdrecords.com/store/index.php?cPath=22

A nice interview with Staccato du Mal is online courtesy of Hartzine, France: http://www.hartzine.com/focus/staccato-du-mal-interview

And I'm happy to say at last - thanks to the tireless, truly herculean efforts of the great Ryan Woodhall of Yellow Tears and Throat the weekly WIERD email and invitation archive is now up on the website! Enjoy reliving all the wild nights forever... :) http://www.wierdrecords.com/wierd/archive.shtml
