WIERD Presents a Very Rare performance by HTRK
Wednesday, September 14th, 2011
This week WIERD proudly presents at long last the NYC debut of HTRK, aka The Haterock Trio, for a live performance at midnight! I know many of you have been waiting for this eminently handsome group from Melbourne, Australia(by way of London) to grace us with their presence forever seemingly. And this week they will indeed appear in the misty fog and lights at last to celebrate the release of their new album Work(Work, Work) out this week on Ghostly Intl./Blast First Petite. HTRK's sound has come a long way since the hot and bothered, bottom-heavy-breathy, and Roland S. Howard Produced Marry Me Tonite(2009) and it seems Jonnine and Nigel have come up to the surface for some icy fresh air to make one of the most intimately brooding, romantic new modern minimal synth records of 2011. And just to bring a little extra assurance to you all that summers fucking over at last, and that this will indeed be another ever-VRabulous approaching-autumn evening of pleasure-seeking enjoyment we'll be joined by none other than our lovely Very Rare lady of the New England night the mistress of enjoyment herself Ms. Jeralyn Mason whos comin down from Boston with her nasty little bitch in tow Mr. Matt Lyons to man the wheels of the WIERD. Follow the links below for a few trax and words, and see you all in the lovely midnite World...VR.

And this is a last warning of sorts: we have about 25 reserve tickets remaining for the ChameleonsVox Script Of The Bridge: Live show at WIERD on wed. November 23rd. For anyone not "Here Today", perhaps yr stuck googling yrself in the "Perfume Garden" of "Monkeyland" likely "As High as You Can Go" as Most of you thankfully are, and missed the"Less Than Human" "View from the (Abstract) Hill" in last week's email announcement, while injesting god knows VRhat under your "Second Skin", nows the time - "Don't Fall"...email us at info@wierdrecords.com if you wanna reserve a ticket to get in. These should be gone by wed., so don't be "Thursdays Child". The more than vaguely froide lord knows "A Person Isn't Safe Anywhere These Days" but the WIERD will always be there for your "Pleasure and Pain"...and (pardon the babbling chills of a lifelong fan imagining the potential visceral intensity of a live performance of the most seminal album in Post-Punk history)...its getting darker earlier this week and I'm waking up excited from a hot and dreary summer hibernation in the VR Bunker, I'll shut the Mancunian VRuck up now mate. :)))
