I know many of you have been eagerly awaiting this week's show for a long time now as WIERD proudly welcomes one of North America's darkest, dirtiest and most lusciously lascivious best kept electronic secrets FEMMINIELLI from Montreal for his US live debut at midnight! Right behind the BK and south central Texas, from the recent sounds of un-vaguely froidetastic new bands such as Spastic Joy, Police des Moeurs and of course our beloved Automelodi Mon Royale clearly has the one of the hottest underground minimal synth scenes in the world right now. One of the co-conspirators behind the Los Discos Enfantasmes label who has released many solidly seething full-lengths from the likes of Hobo Cult, Fixture, and Digitalis, Bernardino and co. have been at the heart of this heat-seekingly frigid Quebequois nexus for years. The band just wrapped up recording a new album which they'll be playing trax from this evening along with songs off of their last amazing limited K7 Sprezzatura released a while back which immediately reached ultVRa cult status on the venerable Robert & Leopold cassette label run by our long tenured ally the great Mr. Ryan Martin of DAIS Records, who will be making a Very Rare guest DJ appearance tonight. Summoning the long lost, swaggeringly charismatic international playboy heros of generations of flâneurs past, Femminielli truly conjurs the mindmelting mantra to an incredibly hot summer night in the wild life of a modern Mediterranean hustler, all roofied up and ready for neverending hours of pleasure in the shadows of the sheets with enough italo disco beats, minimally synthetic spanks, and VRarely raw Kraut sequenced spurts to seduce any of you boys and gurls to join him for a night you'll never remember, or ever forget...ooh I know its so bad you shouldn't but noone has to know shhh, mmm hmm come on let's go! :O...VR.
